Cats and Yellow Roses

A study series. I use leftovers for such things. Here we have book covers and block backings. For transfers, I use paper meant for transferring sewing patterns on cloth, it comes in yellow and white but is a bit waxy. Transparent paper has been a staple since my childhood when I had technical artists in the house. For projects like this, where precision is less needed, I use the sheets several times. They also make excellent cat toys when crumpled into small balls.
While AI image use is controversial to say the least, I rendered the compositions in various AIs before drawing over and painting them (jsut watch what happens when you AIs for "tortoiseshell cats". I could've done the Teenage Ninja Cat Mutants just as well). The final results are traditional physical paintings with no AI influence.
