Month of Love 2018: Medusae

This digital painting was done for the first Month of Love 2018 challenge, "Black".
I had painted a material study years ago of a woman dressed all in black, with a floating jellyfish, and this plays off that idea.
After some charcoal scribbles, I got refs and made a proper drawing with charcoal and chalk on toned paper, to use as underdrawing, but mostly overpainted it. First I set things up in Photoshop and then painted it in Painter 2016, with the Artists's Oils brushes doing the heavy lifting.
