Everyone's been talking about digitization, especially since the pandemic. I want it! The more the better! But - I'm not entirely sure the buzzword has left the understanding intact that it's a vast undertaking. So much more than filling out the same form at the office, just on the computer. So much more than social media. So much more than crime-predicting software that has never heard of humanitarian principles. AI will be cool. A connected world will be cool. Total company control - not so much. Cyberpunk is all I can say.
This piece is, suprisingly, not digital, but traditional media. Acrylic, ink, and collage - using the foils out of a keyboard that died. On paper mounted to canvas board. And: Glow-in-the-dark paint! Huzzah!
