"The Recipe" poster design

What can I say, I love stews. This is one (although not my favourite) recipe for rutabaga soup. It's a thing here in Germany especially during the winter. Most classic German recipes, "Gutbürgerliche Küche", are somewhere between overly meaty and downright disgusting - have you seen bread soup? - and are not popular anymore because they can take some time to make.
This poster design is inspired by spot illustrations for cooking manuals and comes in several languages. I only recently began using this particular style for larger works instead of quick sketches and I'm liking it a lot; the new process makes heavy use of Photoshop's smart objects which keeps the layer count to a managable number.
